Macmillan Support and Information Service Support when you need it TTP and platelet disorder support group

Join us for a monthly support group for anyone affected by

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) or a platelet disorder.

Everyone is welcome, including family, friends and carers. You will have a chance to talk to others, share experiences or simply listen.

When?

2nd Monday of every 2nd month, 1.30pm to 3.15pm

During the first hour and 15 minutes, a clinical nurse specialist and a support and information specialist facilitate the group. After that, you’ll have another 30 minutes to keep talking together.

Where? Macmillan Support and Information Service, ground floor of the Macmillan Cancer Centre

Information for the day you attend the group

• Please don't come to the Cancer Centre if you have a cold,cough, sore throat or any flu-like symptoms.

• If possible, please arrive 15 minutes before the group starts.This will give you time to greet the other members of the group beforehand.
